Do your best

There is any difference between,
Do the best and Give the best ?

Do your best - Do as much as you can as well as you can.
Give of your best - Put as much as you can into it.

Thanks Beeesneees.
Give your best.
Is it correct ?

It’s okay, but ‘give of your best’ or ‘give it your best’ (as in ‘give it your best shot’) is more accurate.

What about GET THE BEST of you?

I saw it in ‘Best of You’ song lyrics by Foo Fighters.

I’m not familiar with the song, but having looked at the lyrics, I would understand that differently.

Is someone getting the best (part) of you?

It makes sense now. Thanks
