difference between "as long as" and "as far as"

Dear Everybody;

I don’t know how to use these Phrase,in which situation/in which place or location.

Please help me in troubled situation.

Bijo

Hi Bijo

You can use ‘as long as’ to talk literally about length. Or you can use ‘as long as’ to indicate a prerequisite/condition, or to mean since/because:

  • You can report to work whenever you want as long as it is not later than 10 am.
  • As long as you’re already making one, you might as well make a few more while you’re at it.

as long as

You can use ‘as far as’ to talk literally about distance. Or you can use ‘as far as’ to mean ‘to the degree or extent that’:

  • As far as I know, I don’t snore.
  • As far as I’m concerned, you can do whatever you want.

as far as
