Did you have a good start into the new year?

How this sentence sound to you: Did you have a good start into the new year? Is there any better way to express the same idea? Have a good Sunday. Torsten

It sounds a little odd to me. Maybe “Has your new year gotten off to a good start?”

How about ‘How has the new year been treating you so far’?

It sounds natural, but has a sense of us being mere puppets to be batted around by the hands of fate
Maybe something that gives the reader more agency - “Have you started off this new year well?”
