Are these correctly written when date functions as adjective?

  1. the 24 June 2009 issue of Time magazine
  2. the 2009 June issue of Time magazine
  3. the 24 June newsletter

I would write “the June 2009 issue of Time magazine”. Otherwise they look OK to me.
