I’ve always messed up to use this expression in the corrent tense: to get lost
For Instance:
What tense should I use when some one gets lost in the certain moment:
- She’s getting lost / present continous
or She’s got lost / Present perfect
Please help me I’m always confused with this phrase. Thanks
Firstly, note that to get lost and to be lost can be interchangeable in certain situations. Secondly, about your question, she’s getting lost implies that the speaker just has something in his mind that she might have got lost whereas she’s lost implies that the speaker knows certainly that she’s lost.
That’s ok, but how can i say when someone gets lost phsycally?
I think just use the correct tense of the verb because this is an ordinary sentence.
