brought/dragged/pulled the boat? Are all of them possible?

Hi teachers,
Situation:
The boat was in the middle of the river because someone didn’t tie it properly.
Which is the most appropriate sentence?
a) Eventually, two boys in another boat brought the boat back to the island.
b) Eventually, two boys in another boat dragged the boat back to the island.
c) Eventually, two boys in another boat pulled the boat back to the island.

Can I use ‘with a rope’ in all of them too?

Thanks in advance.

All are appropriate. Yes, you can add ‘with a rope’.

Hi,
Thanks a lot!

Beeesneees,

  1. Eventually, two boys in another boat brought the boat with a rope back to the island.
1a. Eventually, two boys in another boat brought the boat back to the island with a rope.
  2. Eventually, two boys in another boat dragged the boat with a rope back to the island.
2a. Eventually, two boys in another boat dragged the boat back to the island with a rope.
Are all these correct? Please correct them.

‘with a rope’ is misplaced.

  1. Eventually, two boys in another boat used a rope to bring the first boat back to the island.
  2. Eventually, two boys in another boat used a rope to drag the first boat back to the island.

Hi beesneees,
