It is a huge responsibility for parents to rise their children. One of the first steps is to make the decision where to live. In my opinion it is a better idea to rise children in a big city. Although, it is more difficult for parents, it will give children the opportunity to meet different people, have more activities and in some cases they will access to better education system as well.
First of all, children who live in a big city meet different people in their daily life. As they are still under parents surveillance It is the best opportunity for them to know this people better. In other hand, children who grow up in a small city are in an isolated environment, they just see their neighbors and they may have problems when they want to live in a more diverse environment.
Second, big cities provide more facilities for people as a result children will have more activities in a big city. For instance, they have access to many amusement parks, sport fields and pools. They can enjoy more from their life and have more fun.
Finally, in some countries like my hometown the best schools are located in the big cities. Children who grow up in small cities can not take the benefit of these good education system. In big cities children also have access to good libraries and some other classes like painting and music. They have the chance to try different classes, and discover their talents.
All in all, big cities provide more facilities and give the chance to children know different people so, it is a better place for them to grow up. Although parents should take care more when they want to rise their children in big cities.
