HI TORSTEN

I m anju from india i got your mail and as per mail i have completed the begin vs. start test where i got 7 out of 10.but still i m not fully sure about start vs begin.i read all the articles you have given in between the text. but any way i like your teaching style.one thing i want to discuss with you that i m sending you two three mails via fourm but you still didn’t me reply so i am also a member of your forum .my user name is manu143 but i m checking it daily it shows me no message.i don’t know what is the procedure so pls can you help me out .

Dear Anju,

Thanks a lot for telling me your result of the start vs. begin test. 7/10 is a great start so if you take the test again you might get 10/10. The idea of all our tests is for you to take them several times until you get all the question right. By the way, you might want to read How to improve my typing skills?

Please let me know what you think and welcome to english-test.net!

PS: Please take a look at the message I posted to you on September 12.[YSaerTTEW443543]

Please, could you explain what’s start off means?

“start off” usually means to begin with one thing first.

  1. Let me start off by saying hello.

Hope this is helpful. Belles

Look again at the test. Did you click on the teacher explanations tab at the side of every question? They give additional explanations.

I just finished the test start/begin but unfortunately I only answered 6/10 your question. In fact I do not understand about use start/begin. Can you explain them for me. Thank so much
