as a god

[color=red]1) They speak to him as a god.
[color=indigo]2) They speak to him like a god.

[color=red]3) They speak to him as to a god.
[color=indigo]4) They speak to him like to a god.

Which of the above sentences is correct and means (or at least could mean) they speak to him as if he were a god?

Gratefully,
Navi.

  1. They speak to him like (they do) to a god.
(They speak to him as if to a god!)

I would not use any of the sentences above (other than ‘they speak to him as if to a god’) to convey that meaning.

They speak to him as if he were a god.
