Hi,
Are you sure that “lost for a lot of money” is correct?
I thought that “lost a lot of money” is right… Am I right?

Hello,
Yes, you are right. That’s a typo and we’ll fix that as soon as we can.
Thanks for catching it.

It would be a good idea if we had a ‘was’ with Tim as well.

Alan

Oh, yes. I’ll change that too.

Can say me whats the difference betwen " much money" and “a lot of money”???
Please…thanks

Hi,

Both expressions refer to a big amount/quantity of money but they are usually used in different ways. ‘A lot of money’ can be used with both positive and negative constructions but ‘much money’ is usually used with negative sentences:

She has a lot of money/ She doesn’t have a lot of money.

She doesn’t have much money.
