Are these sentences natural? May 16

Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

[color=blue]1. He bears a striking resemblance to Tom Hanks.

  1. We are struggling with understanding how the performance of your team went up when you actually had less people working.

  2. Where would we be without you? (I was appreciating a person for her help)

Thanks,
MG

#1 and #3 are OK.

#2 would be acceptable to many people, especially conversationally, but strictly speaking it should be “fewer people”. “struggling to understand” seems preferable to “struggling with understanding”, but your version is not actually wrong.
