Are the commas needed?

The following Gosho is from the Internet and the link is below it. (‘Gosho’ is writings by Nichiren Daishonin, founder of Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism.)

In the Gosho, “On the Four Debts of Gratitude” ( Shion-sho ), the Daishonin stated as follows:

Those who learn Buddhism shall repay the four debts of gratitude.

( Gosho , p.267)

I would like to know whether the comma after ‘Gosho’ and the other after the closed bracket are needed.

Thanks.

I could not find a definitive answer, but I think they are necessary, or at the very least, allowed here.

Since the phrase (title) is in apposition, I’d say the commas highlighted are necessary.
