people say anyways instead of anyway very often these days. is it correct ?
Hi getsetgo,
Anyways is a colloquial, popular form of anyway used in conversation.
Alan
Hi! Do you mean to say that it is okay to say it in conversations but not in formal writing?
Hi chocolatee
“Anyways” is very informal and normally only heard in informal conversation. It is also not used by all native speakers.
The standard word “anyway” is fine in any kind of English (i.e. both formal and informal, both written and spoken).

Oh, okay. Thank you. The truth is I never use “anyways” too. I thought I was using “anyway” the wrong way.
