There used to be a time when people said things like ‘fewer cars’ while nowadays everyone seems to say ‘less cars’ instead. Is the time of the comparative ‘fewer’ over?
Ah, the good ol’ days! I think TOEFL and IELTS essay graders still pay attention to these antiquated conventions, so I will continue to make corrections as I see fit!
