also/as well/too

Are these sentences correct:

[color=red]1) In that year, I inherited a large sum of money and I was also hired by a big publishing house as an editor.
[color=blue]2) In that year, I inherited a large sum of money and I was hired by a big publishing house as an editor as well.
[color=indigo]3) In that year, I inherited a large sum of money and I was hired by a big publishing house as an editor too.

I think the second ‘I’ is optional.

Gratefully,
Navi.

I think all of these are correct and are equivalent. As you say, the second “I” is optional.

  1. What differences can we discern from the three sentences below?

  2. I was also hired by a big publishing house as an editor.

  3. I was hired by a big publishing house also as an editor.

  4. I was hired by a big publishing house as an editor also.
(I prefer not to end a sentence with ‘also’, though)

  5. Doesn’t this sentence (I was also hired by a big publishing house as an editor) slightly differ from the other two (originals) in some semantic nuance?
