Adverbs modifying wrong parts of speech.

…weekly news.

It looks strange enough as to why an adverb is qualifying a noun here. Or is (weekly) treated as an adjective here?

…and this is her newly bought books. I presume the adverb(newly) is modifying bought is that not it?

  2. Yes. However, “this is” does not agree with “books”.
