Can i use colours as adverbs? Can i say “this bag is black” in short?

Likewise, can i say “this bag is a bit too formal and feminine”? Or i must say " this bag is a bit too formal and feminine in style"?

I know how to use them as adjectiveS but am not sure if they cam be used as adverbs
