a player to score

Are these sentences correct with the given meanings:

[color=red]1-We need a player to score goals.
[color=indigo]2-We need a player for scoring goals.
Meaning: We need a player who will/can score goals. We need a goal-scoring player.
I think “1” could also mean:
We need for a player to score goals.

[color=red]3-We need more players to score goals.
[color=indigo]4-We need more players for scoring goals.
Meaning: We need a greater number of players who can score goals. We need a greater number of goal-scoring players.

It seems to me that “3” also means:
We need for more players to score goals.

Gratefully,
Navi.

They are both correct with both meanings.
