- As I was walking along the street, a dog jumped at my face and really scared me.
- As I was walking along the street, a dog jumped on me and scared me to run.
Please correct the above sentences.
- is okay, You could add ‘up’: a dog jumped up at my face.
2 is incorrect:
…scared me so that I ran
is the most likely form.
Beeesneeees,
“As I was walking along the street, a dog jumped up on me and scared me so that I ran away.”
Is this sentence OK?
The bold parts are fine. The only part which causes a very small problem is ‘that’ which doesn’t sit quite comfortably there.
I would suggest one of these:
As I was walking along the street, a dog jumped up on me and scared me so I ran away.
As I was walking along the street, a dog jumped up on me and scared me causing me to run away
